Grace Akinsanya – Birth & Postpartum Doula (In Training)
I am a birth and postpartum doula in training with Childbirth International, having successfully completed all my formal training and now gaining hands-on experience as I walk alongside families in their unique birth journeys. I have had the honor of supporting two births so far, and each one has deepened my passion and commitment to this sacred work.
I provide compassionate, holistic care that honors the emotional, physical, and informational needs of birthing people during pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum season. My approach is grounded in presence, empathy, and advocacy ensuring that every mother feels seen, heard, and empowered.
Outside of birth work, I find joy in creativity and storytelling. In my downtime, I love to sew and take photos capturing beauty in everyday moments. These passions also fuel the way I approach doula work: with care, intention, and a deep respect for each family’s unique story.
